Metersbonwe Going Interactive to Change its Image

Metersbonwe, the No.1 fashion retail brand in China market, has recently launched a digital campaign - “Your Personal Fashion Stylist” - to shift market perception of Metersbonwe as a fashion expert rather than an ordinary clothes store.

Based on the insight that Chinese customers want to get professional advice on how to mix and match piece of garments and accessories but feel too shy to ask shop assistants for suggestions, the website features three top pop stars virtually transformed in fashion stylists who host an online fitting room to provide fashion tips. Each celebrity consultant is able to deliver customized advice thanks to the answers netizen will give to a well designed psychological test. In the virtual fitting room, customers can keep changing their outfit under consultant advice until they find their own style and combinations.

The trial launch has seen the website set up via two glass touch screens and a flat screen inside Metersbonwe flagship store in Shanghai and it has been so successful that it has attracted nearly 50,000 unique visitors, resulting in a 9% increase in sales per store visit. And this with no extra media investment!

The website used by Metersbonwe not only enhances customers’ in-out store shopping experience but also provides a platform to engage consumers with the new brand identity. Want to go shopping with your own VIP fashion consultants? Metersbonwe is ready to satisfy your needs thanks to the new dimension interactive media are taking up for achieving branding goals in and out of China.
